Families continue to feel the persistent inflation in the United States. The Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation gauge rose in April, according to a Bureau of Economic Analysis report. NTD hears from some Californians.

When the government spends a lot of money it causes inflation because that’s not real production and it crowds out private investment. We need to save money and invest in private investment so we can create more jobs and produce more goods and reduce inflation.

She immigrated to the United States for college, obtaining a BA in Economics from Whitman College in Washington State. She went on to get her MBA from the University of Santa Clara and became a US Citizen in 1984. Her family background, with parents escaping Communist China, has instilled in her a profound understanding of the negative impact of oppressive regimes and the power of individual liberty. With her strong foundation in economics, Anna envisions a community where free market principles thrive.
